| Today, a righteous cause, a just cause, is defined as a cause that one believes in. If many believe that what they do is what it is, than they are right and should not be persecuted. A man may believe that in slaying thousands he has done a righteous deed, and no one will tell him otherwise. This idea is spreading. Relativism...that word again. The American Heritage Dictionary defines relativism as "A theory, especially in ethics or aesthetics, that conceptions of truth and moral values are not absolute but are relative to the persons or groups holding them." This is happening. We the people, are allowing this relativism to spread with hardly a fight. Just the other day, while sitting in on a class, the teacher asked the students, "Are teenagers in other countries guilty for terrorist activities if they truly believe what they are doing is right?" The students replied, "Yes!" This answer encouraged me a little. However the teacher shrugged off this answer and finished that question with the following statement, "Well, you are not those teenagers, but they cannot be blamed because they truly believe it is the only way." An answer like this would sound like phooey a couple of centuries ago, but today the idiocy of the "tolerant" and the relativists is the gospel of "peace." Funny that relativism would be a precursor to peace when one can explain their "truth" and the "morality" of their actions by stating that truth and morals are relative. If this were true than where is the justice for the wrong? Does evil pay? This, ladies and gentlemen, is the wolf in sheep's clothing. The scout that comes before the pack. Observe how it uses relativism to push its agenda. Ask yourselves, "Where have we heard of this 'relativism' before?" The answer is not shocking, but the use of relativism for the agendas of the pack is. They excuse evil as merely a belief in something different, but when a person, or group, acts to stop the evil, this same relativism support group demands punishment for the "intolerant." Now, is it not true that a group may act accordingly, without fear of punishment, under relativism? Is it not true that morals and truth depend on the person, or group, and are thereby immune to the persecution of another people or groups? The relativists would shout "Yes!" However, when a group begs to differ they are persecuted for their "intolerance." By whom? Well, the same supporters of relative truth. Do you not see the use of relativism as a tool for dominance over another? Relativism cannot exist because the one who upholds will be the one who punishes the dissenters. They will be the ones who destroy the very definition of what they upheld. And they will gladly continue to do it because we, the people, are not paying attention. This idea is spreading, it has already conquered much. Get up! Fight this, or take the blame for allowing the disguised pack into your house to dine with your family, and then to dine on your family. Act! As long as we uphold the values of truth, the product of our exclamations matters not. For the Great God in Heaven will see our trials, see our deep need to show the love and prevent evil, and He will bless us. Strive to be a good and faithful servant. With love for all, and obedience to the truth of the Lord Most High. D.M. Duncan

| When all the realms of yesterday have finished their course. And when all the trees of the past are dead and gone, one still remains. The Tree of Life. The chaos that has ensued is not altogether understood. How can one tree bring about the war? One tree. A Tree! Not a confrontation between the government and the EPA, but a more disastrous war that seems to be approaching the end. I have fought many battles and seen so much bloodshed, but nothing prepared me for this war. A battle involving the metaphysical and altogether supernatural armies that seem to collide right now, within my conscious thought. A sense of the risks of this battle weighed heavy on my mind, or was it my heart? Could this battle be merely a confrontation for my allegiance? "No," I thought, "My heart and my life are not worth this!" Yet there I sat upon a horse looking out. The vast plain before me bearing the heavy burden of life nearing death. How can this be that I remained up on this protected hill while below me, the mist of struggle curled around the souls of the lost. The cries were earth shattering, if I was indeed on earth. Within the chambers of my mind a thought grew. This field was not on earth, it was somewhere else. The place was unknown to me. I shouted for the title of such bloody land, but heard no answer. Just the din of battle growing ever more distant. I yearned to charge in, to help the innocent, but I seemed stuck in my place. I could not move. Hours, or what seemed like such, passed. They passed until time gave up on the great record and expired. Yet I remained. Relief! I could move more and more every moment. The grasp of shock had little hold on me now, and I moved forward. I descended on the horse which now seemed to be animate. I smiled at the thought of such a beast standing on that hill only moments ago, bearing the weight of a foolish nobody. My smile left rapidly. My face contorted into that of shock. For what I saw before me could only be described as the gates of death itself. Ashes. Bleak nothingness lay heavy in the air and the very fabric of the probable seemed to unravel. The bodies were not human. Nor were they recognizable, but the smell was all the more present, as if to make up for the lack of visual stress the bodies purposely reeked! Clouds formed, yet no rain. I rode on through miles of the nihil. I heard no cries from the living or near dead. What I did hear struck with more terror. The ground seemed to moan itself, calling out for sustenance, but the air would not answer. The blood, or what seemed like such, was absorbed into the ground and the land on which I stood made more terrifying of a plea. Yet the air did not listen. The ground moaned and opened its mouth screaming till I felt all my life being shaken to the point of pouring out. No rain. I heard a call, from a horn in the distance. I saw a white host appear, a glad site for the mere contrast in shade mine eyes experienced. The leader of the company halted and dismounted. He walked over to me, the dirt and blood and exhaustion apparent in his face. He helped me dismount for I dare not disobey the silent command of a man who seemed to have labored for something. Beyond the grime of battle the leader had a glint in his eyes and a fair face that spoke of great kindness and perseverance. He looked into my eyes. Searching for something. His pain and weakness rose in intensity, till he fell forward. Out of impulse I knelt to help this unwanted bow. "You were worth it," the Great Leader of the Host said. "You were all worth it." D.M. | Uh-uh! Here it comes again. The same lines about moral decline in our world today. "What have you got for us this time 'minority?' " I speak of what I see and what I see is deception. Yes, foreign and domestic. I see a world in which good is determined by how "good" something feels to somebody. Right and wrong are established on mere feelings. However, I must ask: do feelings change? How can righteousness and truth be based on something that adapts or evolves? "Here he goes again...truth and truth and truth. Absolute truth! Does he not realize his intolerance is what made the world the way it is today?" Intolerance. Was there a sign of intolerance when the Lord Almighty gave us free will? Are there signs of intolerance when evil continues to prowl like a roaring lion, and good suffers; yet evil remains? I assure you if this new form of "intolerance" people speak of were indeed present, than those people would not be alive to speak out. Think for one moment on this classic example of what "tolerance" has given us. School violence runs rampart every year in public and private alike. Violence, in general, continues to scourge this country. Divorce rates are up and abortion numbers continue to skyrocket. Blame it on God, your sister, your government, whatever makes you feel better. Because isn't it alright if it makes you feel good? Prayer taken out of schools. Ten Commandments taken out of government. Sound like an infringement on our rights? When has the need to to not offend gone above every person's God-given, inalienable rights? When was our country, the true birthplace of Democracy, first considered an "evil empire?" Connect the dots, form a theory, shrug the supernatural off as mere scientific phenomenon; do whatever your heart desires. But the Truth is the Truth and no European "tolerance" (an interesting conundrum in that this same "tolerance" promotes intolerance towards organized religion, especially Christianity) will change what was, what is, and what is to come. Moral decline? Intolerance? Tolerance? Or are the pieces finally fitting together? Is the time finally bearing the fruit of Divine Revelation? Find out for yourself. Though if the questions cannot be solved, the 'minority' that is mocked will answer with love; even if the truth of today stings a bit. How do you think it feels for me? D.M. Duncan | | |
| Greetings. God has given us gifts to use for his purpose. And when all of us choose to use these gifts to their full potential and to the Greater Glory of God, we reap rewards. Maybe not in this life, but in Heaven. I will not digress, I will not go any further than to say this: God gives us the victory and the means to achieve such. All he asks is that we willingly serve Him. That we accept his invitation. And that we live for Him each day. D.M. Duncan "In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord seated on the throne, high and exalted, and the train of his robe filled the temple. Above him were seraphs, each with six wings: With two wings they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet, and with two they were flying. And they were calling to one another: 'Holy, holy, holy is the Lord Almighty; the whole earth is full of his glory.' At the sound of their voices the doorposts and thresholds shook and the temple was filled with smoke. 'Woe to me!' I cried. 'I am ruined! For I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips, and my eyes have seen the King, the Lord Almighty.' Then one of the seraphs flew to me with a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with tongs from the altar. With it he touched my mouth and said, 'See, this has touched your lips; your guilt is taken away and your sin atoned for.' Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, 'Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?' And I said, 'Here am I. Send me!' " Isaiah 6:1-8 I encourage you to read farther on. | | |
| Sept. 30, 2006 One cannot stand on the edge of prosperity and not notice the progress that mankind has made. The 20th Century is a prime example of such progress. With the advances made in the computer there have come great advances in the machines of war. But one must not forget the humble beginnings of today's technology. Indeed many advances have been made, but there have been drawbacks. The absolute truth of life has been altered by those who do not understand the ramifications of what they do. What do they do? They make up cockimany theories to support their ideas. Noone questions them or asks for evidence. But the same people who do not question these half baked theories question the good and morale qualities expressed in The Holy Bible. Whether you believe in the one and only God or not, the rules and characters of the Bible are a model of morality. Yet even today people question the truth of such regulations. Today human rights have extended to an overwhelmingly obnoxious point. To excuse ones immoral action as it is their right to be immoral is altogether pointless. Who has the right to decide the fate of another? Some would say "no one." If a terrorist blows up a facility is he not wrong? But isn't he allowed to do it because of his stand, religiously? No! This point goes into absolute truth. Today people say truth is whatever a person wants it to be. How ridiclous this is. I use the terrorist example once again. Right and wrong are decided by the person. Who decided what is for himself, this is the given in the followimg example. The terrorist destroys a building with thousands in it. He believes what he is doing is right, this is an example of his truth. Is he allowed clemency because of this? Not at all. If he is not dead, he will be brought to justice. Justice relies on just one absolute truth. Without this truth, justice doe not work and cannot be enforced. Why then do others decide what is truth? Do you not see the fault of this? Do you not see that truth cannot be decided by us? There is only absolute truth. And the killing of the innocent is not justifiable in any sense. No matter what religion. This is a basic principle of absolute truth. To destroy absolute truth is to destroy the basis for justice, for courage, and for responsibility. These are the evils of the 21st century and the centuries before hand. Do not get me wrong, this evil has happened for centuries but has become, in a way, the gospel of the Worldy Life. Jan. 9, 2007 How relevant can one badly written piece be? More relevant than the first time I posted it a couple months ago. There has been dramatic change, but I have still seen that which I speak of. And even more than when I first wrote it nearly a year before I posted it! I know not many people read or pay attention to my "dribble," but I also know that some do. This minority knows of the spread of "relative" truth and the "need for tolerance" it wears as a mask. To think that our desire to be tolerant supersedes our desire to protect the innocent! I say this, "Be respectful, but leave worldly tolerance to itself." For all this lie called "tolerance" is is another excuse. I will go no further. I reposted this for the reasoning that is in all my writings, in one form or another. D.M. Duncan | | |
